Live streaming comes to the Norfolk Broads

This February sees the start of test broadcasts streamed live from aboard a hire cruiser on the Norfolk Broads. If successful it will again be used in March and again in April.  The technology behind the live broadcasts is provided through UStream, one of the webs first personal content live streaming sites which offers some of the highest quality streaming capabilities.

Subject to mobile network speed and coverage, the stream will be in a high quality 'real time' format on par with watching your television comlete with multiple camera views and a live chat room when broadcasting, where you will be able to interact with me and others ask questions and join the discussion.

Each broadcast will last for at least an hour with broadcast dates and times being shown both here and on The Norfolk Broads Forum.

The Norfolk Broads Forum is the world’s largest official forum dedicated to the Norfolk Broads.

If you are a holiday hirer a wealth of information can be found about cruisers and the boatyards you can hire such from, to help and advice from forum regulars on places to visit to and see along with good advice if you are unsure of anything boat related.

Should you be a private boat owner the warm welcome extends with helpful tips about owning and running your own craft, to Broads Authority issues and lively debates on a wealth of other topics.

Finally, let us not forget a regular Friday night quiz, cruises in company and formal forum meets where you can catch up in person with regulars, meet old friends and make new ones alike such being open to both hirers and the private owner alike.

So it will be 'all aboard' with me the London Rascal this February and I hope you will join me - live in Norfolk.
